    MJ,
    I seem to be dumping the #2 power accumulator way to early on the downswing. I am doing this passively as I am not trying to "hit" with my hands at all. I am finding that my hands don't get far enough toward the target. how can I increased the #2 on the downswing?

    Ric,

    When someone is using a "No Torque" approach to letting their #2 Accumulator to come in line and it happens too early it is from too much Sag from being so far behind the body.

    Granted, a golfer can apply negative torque in the left wrist to keep and angle formed but this gets tricky. A vertical swing plane increase will reduce sag in a 'no torque' accumulator release.

    Hope that makes sense. If there is anyone out there that has no idea what the hell we are talking about and would like me to explain what an accumulator is I would be happy to

    MJ,
    I have been on the "IR" for 3 weeks with my torn rotator cuff and labrum but I got 2 cortisone shots on Tuesday so I can be ready for school with you and Brian (don't forget that Steve and I would really like to play golf on the Tuesday with you and Bmanz,,hint, hint). Before I re-injured the shoulder I went to the range to work on this and I found 2 things;
    1. if I kept my right arm wider on the backswing it gave me more of a float loading action which I like and it also got my right elbow down in front of my stomach on the downswing.
    2. if i slide forward at all it would basically unload the #2 accumulator.
    so I concluded that these 2 factors could be very important. I hope to be swinging again in a week or so and wanted your opinion on these thoughts for when i go back to working on my game.

    Ric,

    The schedule for golf with Brian and I changed as we won't be golfing that Tuesday. His schedule got rearranged so he will be in for the school and monday lessons and then gone Tuesday morning.

    As for an opinion on your to points:

    Point #1----- I wouldn't describe as float loading but more of a wide to narrow movement, which I would be a bit careful of as you have forever been combating a low vertical swing plane angle.

    Point #2 ------ Erroneous!!!!! These are just more excuses to dismiss your lower half when golfing!!

    Well,
    I guess I am glad we will get to look at it together in a few weeks. Are you going to be available to play on Tuesday with Steve and I ?
    I hope so.
