What does this kind of divot tell a trained eye? This is after an approach shot from 110 yards with a PW.
As you can see, I'm a leftie. Totally, the divot points straight at the target.

Steep angle of approach, too much in to out, then trying to save the shot with a club face too closed for comfort.

Lie angle may need toeing up a bit also.

    Divot Interpreting:

    Divot Doesn't tell all

    Helps see
Club Head Path but can mask swing direction

Initial Aim Direction Needed for Evaluation

Down the line view needed with camera on ball line to give you an honest interpretation
