Just finished a 6 week stretch of teaching that was unlike any in my now 13 seasons of my golf school. A full day schedule and Welcome to golf schedule have been the norm early on in the season.

Unbelievable to think that the season doesn't really start to hit full stride until Memorial Day Weekend as that is when summer rentals begin in the Hamptons and I experience most of my teaching traffic.

Explosive Golf Shows, Tips, Ball Flight Guide will all be back on schedule. Pro Contributor Rick Nielsen is on his way out today and we are making a slew of tips and shows together today. I will have the Flightscope out in some of these so you can see what I am able to do with the system and how it ties into the Explosive Golf School. The first Explosive golf Show in a while will be the Cut Shot Show, I am going to have as many shots of the 'player's perspective' to help you see an example from the player's view. I will also introduce my Explosive Designs Wedge and what I have put into the design and why during this show.

    2010 = IN Full Stride

Welcome to golf Spring classes have been completed as they tie me up from 4-8 pm each week night. I now have a much more normalized teaching schedule and am much more available in afternoons

    Hi Mike,
Sounds great...Looking forward to it all! That wedge sounds interesting and I'm kind of a wedge freak so to speak. How about some specs on it? What's the bounce? Wide sole or narrow/medium? Grooves? Any special grind? You gotta give us something to go on!
    Thanks,
    p

    PM,

All the info on the wedge can be found here on the golf club site:

    Forged Wedges

The wedge is made of 1020 carbon forged material so it is super high end material. if you have any further questions on the wedge just let me know

    Hi Mike,
Definitely a cool lookin' wedge! Is this the type of wedge that will rust? I'm assuming it has a very soft feel? What design features did you insist on...anything that makes it different than all of the rest...hope I am not putting you on the spot or anything, if so, feel free to delete this sentence.
    Thanks,
    paul

    PM,

It is a great looking wedge, Trickyric purchased 2 wedges as did Wanye so I am sure that they will soon post up some feedback on the clubs.

The wedges do not rust, they are made of 1020 Carbon forged steel so they have a soft feel indeed. The callaway x tour wedges are made of the same material, vokey wedges are not forged so our material is finer.

I put a lot of work into the head shape, bounce angles, and player's view appearance. That's about it, other than S25C wedge material this is the highest end material available in a wedge.

This was a great question, we never delete anything here

Let me know if you have any other questions

They sound awesome! It would be awesome if there was a review on them - hopefully, soon. I assume that you use them?

Let me be brutally honest................................They are awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been using them for 3 weeks now and I have been able to hit shots that I didn't know I had. Today I went 3 for 3 in sandies and if you knew how bad I was out of the sand you would realize how great this is. Now I did get a sand lesson from MJ but these clubs just seem easy to use.
The pro at my club saw me practicing little flip wedge shots and came over to ask were I got the wedges, he then spent the next half hour hitting shots with them.
These wedges are well worth the money so get yourselves some.
