when is this starting? i think (key word) i understand TGM fairly well, but to go through it in detail with a GSED is a fantastic thing!

I can't wait to see it too.
I see some friends are already here on the site. Good to see so many folks I recognize.
I can't wait to get the party started.

Thank you very much...it is priceless.
Welcome to the Michael Jacobs Explosive Golf School Study Hall
Our first research project will be the book 'The Golfing Machine,' by Homer Kelley.
What is The Golfing Machine and why has it been so important?
The Golfing Machine is by far, the most complete book ever written on the subject of golf. The book has stood the test of time and continues to be in the pedigree of golf's greatest teachers. The book has a stigma and reputation of being a very 'difficult read' and almost incoherently written. This is where the Authorized instructor steps in and helps you through the material. Over the years, there have been many instructors and many discussions and differing viewpoints on the application of 'golf stroke engineering.' We will be taking a very basic 'fifth grade' approach to helping you apply some of the ideas that are enclosed in the book. I will lead the way by introducing certain topics and interpretations to help your game and will also entertain any questions from the gallery for those who have specific questions on a certain subject. Welcome to our Study Hall and to our first research project together 'The Golfing Machine' by Homer Kelley....

I've been waiting for this studyhall to begin because I am daunted (almost annoyed) by the text book. It's diabolically hard to follow. But, my preferred way to learn things has always been by reading, assimilating and then doing. Anyway, I see the title "intro to the GM"....but I can't find anything beyond that. Am I missing something on your web page?
I must say my golf game is nowhere near as good as it was last year, and I'm so disillusioned. My index has gone up from a 12.9 to a 15.9, and I'm trying so hard to no avail. I'm willing to practice, play, take lessons, but I want to feel some love out there.....
Maureen's being annoyed with The Book is pretty much the response that I receive with many of my students. I had the book for 20 years and did not understand it and I had sent several juniors to Division I programs who then became tour players but I wanted to know where the best teachers in the world got the foundation of their information. They all have researched the Yellow Book even though most will not acknowledge it. This website by way of the video's that Michael provides are wonderful and all are covered by the Yellow Book and he explains it in the easiest of terms so that all may understand and absorb the information. Better yet if you live in his neighborhood keep taking lessons from Michael Jacobs as he is very knowledgeable and a rising star in TGM. I have had a couple of students who have picked up the book and read it and totally understood the book. They have degrees in Mechanical Engineering. So don't give up on your journey the Yellow Book is very difficult to read and that is why Michael Jacobs and I are proud Authorized Instructors of TGM. The fact that you made a very honest post shows that you do have a desire to learn and become a very good player. AI's definitely have a lot of love for those who never cease to learn.
This will be the section for the Intro to the book -- give me a chance to piece it together. I work on the website in my spare time which this time of the year is very minimal. I teach a sold out schedule, run a golf course, own a driving range and pro shop concession, and this site.... I work on it every chance I get. The site has been alive for only 2 months and I have the most videos to watch of any site I have seen so far... So, bear with the program - I will be dedicating a lot of time to the site in the near future and I promise it will be the best site in golf within a short time
