In the video of shoulder turn, you do not turn level with the floor. You still have a titled shoulder turn. The left shoulder goes toward the ball. So I am confused, you say turn level but in the video you do not. Can you explain what you mean when you say level with the floor?

Jerry,
Sounds like you are getting a tid bit confused...
This shoulder motion article shows a flat trunk move as a rehearsal, when actually striking a ball on the ground a golfer adds left side bend to retain a golfing posture. All different swing patterns have different versions of how flat or steep the trunk moves and how much left side bend occurs....
So to sum it up, the rehearsal of standing up straight and making a flat trunk move is different from actual swings where the body has bend

Michael:
Regarding the motion of the right sholder / right side - Is it acceptable to have the feeling that the whole right side (shoulders, arm, tilt) occurs together instead of shoulders, then arm.
I feel too disconnected at the moment and am trying to tighten everything up.
Thanks
Gary
Gary,
ANy feelings or sensations that assist the golfer to have a better movement are great. Sometimes the feelings need to be drastic and counter intuitive to accomplish a task.
Just be careful that the arms are not moving too flat, the arms are much more efficient when they move above the shoulder movement.
I would spend time training the moves a bit separately {arms & shoulders}

Wow, this is going to be a big help for me. It's an amazing thought to think that even if you have the (proper) sensation of the right shoulder turning down, not up, in the backswing, you will still end up in the proper position at the top of the backswing, where your right shoulder is actually higher than your left!
I guess I am learning how golf is a game of opposites.... can't wait to try this tomorrow!
