In every video of my swing I notice if my hands get above my waist the club looks like it dips down toward the ground (over swing look). The only way I have found to overcome this look is to only make what feels like half back swing. The club still wants to dip down though if my hands get anywhere near the shoulder plane line shoulder high or above as in all of your model swings.

How do I avoid the dreaded dip look at the top of my normal back swing?

Simusphere,

Posting some swings would be a big help, but it sounds like there may be an issue in the right wrist motion. If a golfer works the right wrist 'up' too much on the way back, {cocks it up} the club will have a haphazard backswing length. Just from a generalization, that is the first place I would look

Default Great Video - 07-08-2010, 08:35 AM

Mike, I enjoyed the video of a proper backswing since one of my problems has always been throwing my right shoulder out on my way down....
