    The new website booking engine has a launch date of March 15th. I have eliminated the Smarter Lessons service and have created a premier custom lesson booking system. A new feature will also be the opportunity for out of towner's to book a SKYPE computer session from their home to my office at certain times.

    The program will require emailing me some golf swings that will have video segments from specified camera placements followed by a 30 minute skype session to discuss some future adjustments for your golf game.

    Going to have a lineup of Explosive Golf Shows scheduled as we still have the finale of last season to post up on Swing Direction {which was delayed by weather}

    Sounds good Michael. Your suggestion that the 2011 season is upon us is greeted with a degree of skepticism as I glance out the yard and see drifts of over 4' still remaining.

    However, you are the teacher, so I will give it a try. Two questions immediately come to mind. Are you planning the same approach to lessons as last year, (i.e. the all-day and half-day schools)? Do you have any suggestion for a program to begin the season?

    Phana,

    Just arrived back in NY and the golf course is open. I plan to start teaching on the 15th of this month. As of right now the programs are the same, but I will be tweaking them as time goes on. As for a good program to start for the season? Depends upon what you would like to work on, the longer programs give us an opportunity to touch on each area of the game. A full swing session and a short game session is always a good way to start!

    Still snow up by you?

    Yeah, typical snow cover 8-20" depending upon exposure to sunlight. Our normal season begins mid-April. We average over 13" of snow in March. Local courses typically target Apr 1-15th as opening day depending upon soil and climate. I know its only 160 mi. north, but remember the ocean has a tremendous moderating effect on the temperature.

    OK, so I or we (trying to convince a friend to join me) will plan on a visit for a day the 1st or 2nd week of April depending upon the weather. Couple of more questions for you. Any suggestions for indoor work to get prepared for the season such as workout routine, use of indoor simulators, etc? The other question is I have been chatting with some folks on a forum that are really impressed with this toy Sonic Golf as very helpful in developing tempo, any experience or thoughts?

    Appreciate all your help.

    Phana,

    I have Sonic Golf here, you will be able to use it while you are here. As apart of the research excursions, I spent an evening with Robert Grober. Nice guy, hoping he will be spending sometime out here at Rock Hill Country this summer.
