Joe,
Any camera that has a sports shutter will be fine. An often good idea is a dvd camera. Where you can take it to the range, pop a dvd in, burn the dvd, and then mail a copy off to me. This will help you avoid having to upload your swing to the computer and the internet.
Guidlines for shooting.
Face on view, make sure the whole club can be seen throughout the swing
Close up shot of your grip
Back Vew - from down the line. Place camera on the same line as the ball
It will be important to get a tripod also to go along with the camera
In this day and age you should be able to get camera and tripod for about $300
