    HJ,

    Right forearm help

a useful image that may help you:

If your stuck your right arm in a five gallon bucket of paint and took your arm out with paint dripping...
Then you get in a golf set up and make a swing with just the right arm- you would want to paint that plane line with the dripping paint as you make make your swing

Good video mike. Now I have a pretty flat takeaway, by just starting my swing with my left shoulder to asure I do get my shoulder over to the right. When I take my right side back first I sway and or leave my left shoulder from not getting over to my right side. When I tried the right forearm takeaway I also found that I leave my left shoulder( as they would say in a horse race left at the post) on my left side. So what do you use in your mind to start your takeaway mike? Now when can we get the important downswing?
By the way mike this week is 3yrs since my fist lesson with you .It was out side with 60 degree temperature (jan.). You insisted on me to get more of my left side to my right and that tac-tic drove me crazy trying to get that f;at left wrist. Also had trouble swinging hard down and through to the ball. I look at the video you made of me now and then. My swing got much better but I`m not there yet. This will be my year. I will take another lesson this spring to set off my best year. And yes I`m reading the greens better that was great what you showed me,thanks.....joe

for the record I was the one who asked about a right foremarm takeaway because I battle an over-rotation of my left arm going back that gets the clubhead behind me - my thought was by picking up my right arm it would give me the up component of the arms I'm looking for

This video and video tip #10 are VERY good. For me, taking it back with a palm neutral left side is the way to go
