Unbelievable! The sad thing is Haney has a trackman, he was using one in one of his silly shows for Barkley or Romano. Of course he wasn't using it for teaching it was some sort of club fitting thing...what a waste!

So Mike, would you say some of his fat three woods are from him trying to tumble in the downswing, but since he isn't used to it he overdoes it sometimes? And then when he doesn't do it he is exposed to the right shots like the playoff hole at the Match Play?

Btw sounds like you have cool friends!!

I see a wierd move where Foley seems to have him trying to slow down his hips to be more like hunter Mahan and he is built for power and speed not grace. He has that power dip move, I think Manzella calls it "the pull back, run up and the jump" that is crazy hard to control if you slow his natural body motion down.

Could be Steve, haven't watched him on tv yet this year. I usually tune into the Masters as my first real extensive viewing of the year. I just hear bits and pieces of his golf game from people and such. ... think he is ever going to put it together or is he headed to the announcers booth?

I believe he will be back for another dominant run. After 2 surgeries and a very public and humiliating divorce he still pulled a top 10 and a top 5 in majors and dropped a 66 on the final round at Doral. He is just to damn good to not have another run, it may not be what we are used to but I could easily see him scaring Jacks Majors record. Remember he has already passed Jack in victories.

    Tricky,

His success lies in his putter, granted as he hits the ball better it will relieve pressure off his short shots, but when it comes down to winning at the highest level the putter is the equalizer. Look at some of the stats of guys who win, making every putt 20 ft and in on the last day - making every putt 10 feet and in for 4 rounds. Go back and take a look at Tiger's wins, many times he was flawless 6 feet and in. He does need a new swing coach though, the new guy likes saying big words and looking the part but he has very little knowledge of what it takes. For example, no knowledge of the 3D path of the club - ball flight laws - club behavior -- this is verified as of very recent.
