    Landshark,
Let me start off by saying that you make a great move at it. I would recommend removing the shallowness of the stroke
I did my best to stop and go with the pause button. If I were you, I would start by getting my left thumb more under the club at the top of the swing. It will help it reach a better spot and take a better track on the way down. I am going to check my pictures folder and see if I have a pic I can put up to help you understand

Left Thumb Under ; Left Thumb Under

Is what will help remove the shallowness of your overall stroke. Thumb under at the top of the stroke, and thumb under at the finish. Review the post above also to help the understanding

    Landshark,

If you try to do what I described above, you will have no choice but to have that club higher -- work on the above post and on exposing your right arm pit. Then from there we can work on the downswing

    Hi everyone,

I am new here. Stumbled on this site through youtube.

Michael, what a great site. I read The Golfing Machine several times many years ago. I did not play for about 5 years until my son (12) picked up the game through a friend about 4 months ago. Now we're both having a great time playing together.

Here's a free program where you can convert your video files to other file types.

    http://www.erightsoft.com/home.html

Once you convert the file, you can go here to get a free program where you can trim the clips down to specific swings.

    Release build -- 1.9.0 (experimental)

    http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/

If you email me the video clip, I will see if I can convert and trim for you.

Thanks again for making this site available, Michael.

    Thanks Michael. One question...

Where were you 10 years ago?

    This site is really awesome.

Do you have the capacity to post swing clips on your forum? Maybe I could post a couple clips of my boy?

He seems to be hitting off the turf better lately. He shot an 89 and a 99 his last two rounds. We played two championship courses and he played from the front tees. He is really enjoying the game.

    Thanks,
    Les
