Ill take a crack at this. Not sure if im right. Anyway, looks like a pretty good swing to me. I do see a chicken wing on the follow through. Could this be caused by a flexibility issue? Could this be corrected by steepening the lead arm?

First of all I`m 77,the reason for flexabilty. Started golfing when I was 60(still playing Softball)..Which is why I used my body when I started playing golf. Was told to use my body to start the swing. I use to move all over the place especially with sliding.I played to a 14 handicap for yrs and slid the last few yrs . It wasnt hard for me to change to the new release for I swing that way except for my body. Now all I try to do is take the club back with a slight breaking of the hands mostly my right hand which keeps my body still.
When I started my swing with turning my left side first I would start back with my body and couldnt square my club face.. On a tee every thing was forgiving got away with alot. Chipped good and putted decent. I even shot in the 70`s at times. Woods on the ground I hit decent irons knocked them down all the time except for wedges. Hopefully with this new release and help from mike and others I can have a very good yr.

Hi Joe, I agree your swing looks pretty good! I see plenty of guys in your current age range and without seeing previous swings of yours, I think it favors comparably to good to decent players in your peer group.

To me you could get a little longer backswing, more back to the target so that you can get the most out of that release on the down swing and avoid the tugging that is likely when you swing short. I don't think you need much just a little more, using more of your hips to turn so that your shoulders could get to right about 90 degrees. The goal is not to get a stretch out of the move, but to have enough time to release the downswing. Not sure if Mike has already prescribed some of the release ideas already to you in person or if you have just watched the videos but it looks like you are working towards the right ideas!

Will look forward to Mike's analysis.

ha,ha,ha, thats what everyone ask me....driver,3 wood.7w,9w,h26 degree,h29 degree,6i.7i,8i,9i,p,g,s,i scotty putter..hardly use my 9w or my 6i....The reason for all the woods I never could hit irons but now with the new release hopefully I could.I hit irons great off of mats but they are very for forgiving we`ll see what happens when I hit of the grass....
