    Thanks for your response. Don't want to drag this out, but could you elaborate on your statement above? Is there something different one can 'accomplish' with one over the other? The only thing I've noticed is that sit/snap tends to have lower ball flight than slide/sweep. For ME, the sweep seems easier to accomplish with woods than irons. Done correctly, snap seems effortless. But that may not be what you've experienced.

    Concerning the right shoulder tilt/left hip over left foot transitional it seems to me a young and current Tom Watson used this movement well. If its good enough for him and his usable pattern it may well be good enough for this player. Rick Heath
