    it is $500.
    Basically it is a it is a club head and part of a shaft that can move up and down a vsp while the face can be adjusted open or closed to the HSP. there are wires or pointers that come off the HSP and the club face and the mini sail looking thing that goes onto the 2 wires. it shows the actual ball flight based on where you point the face in reference to the plane lines to the path.
    it's pretty cool. I will make a video of it when I get mine.
    Ric,

    Email me the picture and I will put it up so everyone can see

    It was such a small file that when I made it bigger I had a tough time retaining the quality, so it is a bit fuzzy

    Is it a training aid? I've often thought that if someone could invent a product that a golfer could use away from the course or range that helped develop a sound swing, or at least helped with skill training, it would sell incredibly well. Like most people, I can't get to the range as often as I would like. If there was something I could do at home to help my game, I would. Indoor simulators tend to be pricey and take up a lot of space and I always wonder how accurate they are.

    Mike, not to thread jack, but did you see anything interesting at the PGA show that would fit this description?

    thats not terrible quality, when i get mine I will take pictures and send them to you.
    as for what it is;
    you can set the vertical swing plane, the horizontal swing plane and face angle to see 3 dimensionally the D-Plane so as to better understand how these things will effect the ball flight.

    Mike, do you have a feel for any results you are getting with the Sonic Golf unit in your lessons to date?

    Hey Phana,

    Honestly, I haven't used it in a lesson setting yet. I have made a bunch of swings with it myself but I haven't even hit a ball with it yet. It is a very cool device and something I am going to use a lot for my own training. The problem is that we have yet to have 1 nice weather day to where I have even gone out to hit a bucket of balls with anything. When you come for your lesson we should give it a whirl and have you write a post about it

    I hope your assumption of nicer weather for that day is accurate. If you think the Island has been bad, come on up to Rensselaer County. I have been to the range exactly twice. Thank God for global warming.
