    Hi Mike,

What is your opinion on the best way to determine what flex of shaft to use? I have played with both stiff and regular and I don't see much difference in the end result.

    Thanks

    Swing O,

With out question, the best thing to do is to seek out a place like hot sticks, or kool clubs or places that have the super sonic fitting equipment. I have heard that a fitting could be as much as 400 or 500 dollars. Everyone who has ever gone has said it is worth it. I of course, don't have the luxury of those systems so I use more of a personal way of fitting shafts for customers using speed monitors, frequency machines etc...

What you will find for sure is that just because a company stamps a R or S on a shaft does not mean it coincides with industry standards for the flex. There are some Regular shafts out there that feel like bricks and others feel like noodles.
