Is there a video tip on how to set and maintaing the arc or radius of the swing? I have tried extensor action in the past but could not get it consistently right.
Last night while hitting some short chips / pitches I simply pushed the grip away with both hands and kept that feel back and through. I liked the results. Most of the impact marks were on or very near the sweet spot and more improtantly none on the hosel.

    Thanks

    LLAP,

I have some good advice for you, but first my question is - when is this shortening taking place ?? Just on small shots? Full Shots too? Early in the backswing? Later in the backswing? Fill me in and describe the ball flight you get and we will give you a hand

I honestly do not know what is happening. I get these spells where most of my iron shots squirt right. This happenes on full irons off the tee down to short chip shots. I only carry 7 iron down through lob wedge so I do not know if it happens with all irons. I do not do this with my driver, fairway or hybrids.

Sounds like you may want to check your club face to make sure it is not laying back open relative to your swing track. Review the 'Close Up of Hand Action Video Tip #10' in the video tip archives and make sure you are understanding the wrist and hand conditions. Also, review the tee riffic tip.. I have posted both videos below

I watched the videos. It may sound strange but I hope I can hit some of my "bad" shots for you Saturday so you can see what I am trying to fix.
