the secret is in the dirt

Gang,
I was reading a website called 3jack that defines the Golfing Machine pretty well as far as I can tell (google it)and it reccomended BM's videos and an E-Book so I purchased the E-book titled "The secret is in the dirt". it was written by a golfer named sevam1 after he had made youtube videos with a friend he was teaching and they became an internet sensation.
In his e-book he has lots of anecdotal stories and really cool videos that link in, as well as an interesting take on Hogan and Moe Norman.
In one chapter he talks about long drive King Mike Austin and Ben Hogan. In it he defines how austin and Hogan would pull the left arm away from or against (however you can picture it)the ball of the right foot and how that is why Hogan put the extra spike in his right shoe there.
I have been messing with this in the hitting net in my yard and it really creates some torque. He also talks about the speed of the navel being the motor of the swing and some other stuff on plane and lag that are very interesting.
I would reccomend anyone interested in Hogan stuff buy this e-book.
just thought I would share my obsession.
