    Eck,

The right arm location you describe is trouble. You definitely will be robbed of a lot of power.

On the backswing you are keeping the right hand in between the right elbow and the club. Kind of like, the same move you would make if you were starting a lawn mower. At address, turn your right elbow down as much as you can.... try to rotate your forearm so that the right elbow turns down and points to your right leg. It should help you on the backswing, and I would definitely review the Explosive Golf Show #3 the POWER Y part 1 and 2

    Hi Michael

yes that seemed to help , but here is the final piece to the puzzle

because of back and a bit of spine surgery...my right shoulder is pronated......so its kind of difficult to set up with "=" shoulders

if you anwer this.....you win an ECK cream

    Eck,
I would recommend setting up for you with your shoulders about 15 deg open.

ok, but for the first time i was able to take the club back without the elbow flying

for understanding....when i setup up........my right hip goes in front of the left....not in front but further forward.

thats the spine thing.......so i set up that way...then went 15 degrees open with the shoulders.....which seemed to relieve a bit of pressure from the spine...............when i took it back.....it was easy and smooth.......i think, please tell me if i am close............... opening the shoulders in my case almost evened me with the spine.....
