Myself, Brian Manzella, and Michael Finney are on a research trip to meet with a renowned expert. I will report on the findings upon return and get to all of the posts that need answers along the Dr David Williams Science of the golf swing discussion with Mandrin.

    Ric,

Glad you are watching the anti summit video, there are some great nuggets of information. I am enjoying all my time with those in the golf science community. What is interesting, is that some of them never have even played golf!! Physics and engineering departments at universities are fascinated with the complexity of the golf swing so they enjoy the golf swing challenge as much as we do.
What is unfortunate is that a lot of the really great information is withheld from public domain due to the golf club companies. The USGA has tons of secret research that they do not allow to leak out because it will arm the golf club companies with substance for law suits etc...

I have been compiling a large amount of research and am in the process of authoring a study, as I feel I have cracked a major 'code' and am going to test it. I am going to hold off on the release of Explosive Golf 2 until I fully run the study. If I can scientifically prove what I have discovered, which I think I will be able to do, even Trackman and Flightscope will want to make adjustments to their systems.

Do you forsee in the near future when you will have this information in a more digestable form for the weaker of minds like myself?

I have just finished the first run of the Four segments at the Anti-Summit and have made a post on Brian's website. I'm quite familiar with Aaron Zick's work but Michael Jacobs posted a name recently that has always intrigued me with his posting on Brian Manzella's site. The name is MANDRIN and he is the real deal and I'm looking to his finding's becoming aligned with the mainstream of teaching a the highest level possible. Those of us who dare to teach never cease to learn.

    Ric,

Working tirelessly at that goal, I have been spending a lot of time with some great minds that I won't mention just yet but they are in a class like no other. If you saw my office at the moment, you would see heaps of materials that I am sorting through each and everyday.
What I have found most interesting about each and every Dr I meet is that they are really intrigued with the teaching side of the information. They really don't have any experiences with using the information in a practical golf lesson setting. I have found that my 15,000 - 20,000 hours of teaching experience is serving value to the researchers so that they can decide on new topics to test and research.
The one area that I have found to be very interesting is SHAFT study. It is amazing how misinformed the everyday golfer is about what the shaft is truly doing. Hopefully one day when all the research is done and I have published, I will make a contribution to mainstream golf instruction. If not, thats ok too as my students will benefit from the knowledge on the lesson tee and I am having a lot of fun researching!!

Would the shaft manufactures be to blame?

    Ric,

The work is getting done, I am combing through a ton of information. I have 2 or 3 new hypotheses that I am going to have tested. I am having a lot of fun and am going to get it done. Running a country club and Long Island's most complete teaching operation will not get in the way
