    Had the opportunity to test fire some of the industries finest equipment:

    The traditional ways of measuring a swing or shot have been changed forever. In the history of golf instruction, thinking and analysis has always been in 2 D {2 Dimensional}

    Traditional ball flight laws have always used club path and club face to describe the ball flight and did not factor in up and down of the club. A downward attack and an upward attack have just as much influence on the flight and effect the path and face. These factors are easily measured on a trackman device.

    The Trackman

    The second piece of technology I gave a test drive to is a 3 D machine. Which creates a 3 D model of the golfer and provides unbelievable reporting on the kinematic sequencing of the body movements as well as fantastic data on body movements.

    What was found and learned from these sessions, we they will be expressed in the continued content from my golf school

    Mike,

    Was this research done in New Orleans at English Turn? Does this mean that BManz has a Trackman down here now?

    Looking forward to hearing more about your trip.

    Thanks.

    Are you saying that you will have one for your lessons or will it be seperate from your teachings. Will it be part of your new clubs business. In your learnings of the trackman, in what way will a golfer improve? Will you be at any time this winter in florida?....joe

    Was in New Orleans, Brian doesn't have a trackman as of yet but last I spoke to him he close to getting one.

    English Turn is a great facility but Cafe Du Monde was my favorite!

    Joe,

    I am contemplating getting a trackman, looking for the best deal as they retail for over $30,000. The new club business is going great, the whole line has gone to production at the foundry. Nike and Callaway use the same foundry that I am so they have quite a load of orders. They are predicting a Dec 31 arrival date of line.... so I am thinking I will have them fully launched by the start of next golf season. The woods and hybrids are awesome, I will be having hybrids available all the way down to the 8 iron/hybrid.

    The trackman allows you to see concrete data... best if used outdoors with the golfer benefitting from the ball flight and targeting. The up and down angle of attack numbers are very difficult to judge without the use of this device.

    I will be going to Spain in Jan and Florida in the same trip... will only be in Florida for the PGA Show

    I have'nt been to the Turn nearly enough to make a comparison. Glad you enjoyed your trip down south. Next time, try to come down between Feb and July.
