    Hi Mike,

Sorry the weather didn't cooperate for us. Hope to get up to NY soon.

I've got two hours scheduled with Robert this Friday. I'll update you with the results.

    Mike,

I spent two hours with my local pro last Friday. Definitely had some weight transfer problems in the backswing. Weight moving towards the toes, very little weight into the back heel. Too much hip turn too (just like you told me).

He described it as 'too much over the ball at the top with nowhere to go'. From there, easy to hit a pull or hit it fat. Both of these shots appeared in my game recently.

Once he got me to feel more weight on the heel and inside of the back foot, I could barely reach the ball at impact. After a while, I started hitting it pretty well.

More work to do to make it feel right. Out of action right now due to a bad back (played 6 out of 7 days last week). Hope to get back at it soon...

    Tracy,

Take care of that back and keep us posted. Our season is winding down up here, 1 month left. The other morning it was 42 degrees in my teaching area and I had to wear a parka!!! The only good thing about this time of the year is hockey season is about to start!

    Hi Mike,

Starting to swing much better. I had a lesson from my local pro yesterday. Says its the best he's ever seen me swing. Mentioned how quiet my body motion looks now. I believe this was something you and I worked on This no dragging, no hold on, free release that you and Brian are preaching is working for me. Plus, my local guy has got me in a more balanced position throughout the swing. Starting to feel good. Now if I can just keep my back in working order...

Here's a pic of our teaching facility at Bryan Park in Greensboro. There's two bays on the back side pointing out on the range. Full of cameras, Flight scope, etc. I wish they would build you one of these so I could come get a lesson over the Winter Hopefully I can make it next Spring when the cover goes back up on your teaching station.

    Great news Tracy!

Glad your golf swing is reaching the level that we strived for when you came for the 2 day lesson

Nice teaching building! I will be beach in action in March, lots of work to do until then... Finish a book and put out some new movies

    Thanks Mike,

Just to clarify one thing....Even though I'm hitting it well, I have lost about 50% of the distance gains that I had just after coming to Long Island. This tells me that even though I am trying to reproduce what we talked about, obviously I am not quite there.

    Maybe the book will help

    Tracy,

What are your thoughts on the source of the distance loss???
