As a reminder, the Golf Channel is going to have a special on the PGA Merchandise Show, it is usually a bit of a fluff piece though.

I saw the golf channel media people running around. Show was pretty good, I got a lot of products and am looking forward to the 2012 season

Curious, just what does a teacher learn from using flightscope or trackman to help a student. If you could some kind of an example to show how to help a student swing,thanks...jp

The 3D tracking units like Flightscope and Trackman measure the club and ball in 3D. This gives the teacher an opportunity to have clear cut opportunity to take out the guess work on what the club and ball are doing.

Video is not nearly accurate enough o know what is happening in the impact area. Video is ok for basic positioning analysis but useless for analyzing what is happening during the strike.

At some point this winter I will put up some screen shots of my Swing Catalyst software that integrates both video Flightscope date.
