Its that time of the year as myself and all the boys head down to the Show. Congratulations to Steve Greffen, one of our pro contributors, as he has recently purchased a Trackman and will be using it in his teaching and fitting. Even though we are Flightscope people here we still love him.

One of the big things that I will be investigating at the show will be the GC2 Foresight Sports device. I will report back on any advantages or disadvantages of it.

I will be spending time at the Flightscope area doing some demos so stop by if you are in attendance unless you have been designated an internet golf LOON! If so stay away

Enjoy the golf show and have a safe trip.
Try not to get too many goodies.

I think the golf channel is going to do a show on the expo.

Enjoy the show all that are attending. My big splash was two days prior as Michael said picking up a used Trackman. I was certainly conflicted as I was very interested in the Flightscope and really admired all of the people there. I appreciate that you all won't cast me out (lol) and look forward to the ultimate goal of improving golf instruction with all of you.

Michael, I look forward to your analysis of Foresight sports and any other things you see along the way. (try to keep that Italian in check will you? Lol)

    Safe trips for all.

    Steve,

You just jumped a few light-years ahead of us other teachers that do not use Flightscope or Trackman.
    I'm jealous

    Matt,

I am really fortunate, it's going to be a huge aid in my teaching and will make for an exciting year. It is really too bad that great teachers like yourself that know and understand the importance of this technology do not have access to these machines. The facilities that let them sit collecting dust and only use them for fitting should be made to give them up for better, proper usage.

    Hopefully down the road.

As a reminder, the Golf Channel is going to have a special on the PGA Merchandise Show, it is usually a bit of a fluff piece though.

Curious, just what does a teacher learn from using flightscope or trackman to help a student. If you could some kind of an example to show how to help a student swing,thanks...jp

    Jay2010,

I spent a good amount of time at their tent on demo day and saw the unit in action. I personally did not hit any balls on the unit but some of my friends did. It is an interesting looking gadget but nothing I would use. Flightscope is far superior
