Jimmy,
Thats a great question. In a dynamic swing we would expect their to be a lot of sensations rippling through the feet. I would not expect a golfer to be able to keep their foot still, I would expect to see the golfer have a lot of reactions with the ground. Whether or not the foot is flat or in some sort of motion at the moment of impact is a very interesting question. The golfer's shoe may stay on the ground but I would expect some shear force inside the shoe. The instantaneous nature of the impact and the very short time that the downswing takes place would make it very difficult for a golfer to sense exactly what their foot is doing. The golfer would have a much easier time sensing what is happening into the later stages of the finish.
