Hi Mike:
I bought a Sony, which doesn't do what I want (eg slow motion).
Could you recommend a couple of brands and models for me to consider.
Thanks,
Wayne

Shoot some swings, burn a dvd of the footage, and use the slo motion on your dvd player to go frame by frame. I have a sony dvd, I make dvds for students and they can do a slow motion playback[/QUOTE
Hi Mike:
My computer has a DVD player, but not a burner. But I do own most every software title. Sony comes with a nice little suite of software, but none does a slow motion playback, in fact, none of my software does.
I just bought some dvd +rw discs, which can be reused/re-recorded. But I don't find anything that allows, camera or software, slo-mo playback.
I appreciate your help and guidance.
PS BM's website doesn't speak highly of Sony.

I think what Mike means is if you burn a DVD of your swing you can then slo-mo the footage using your DVD players slo-motion feature. There are lots of free buring software available on the web ; try google "Nero" which is a free burning tool. Make sure your computer has a re-writable DVD player and check that it is compatible with +RW dvd's or -RW dvd's as this does vary depending on your machine. I haven't found a tool that will allow you to burn a dvd of footage shot in slow motion from your line drawing program
Thanks Twitch:
I got it figured out. Windows Media player allows frame by frame playback, which I was very interested in. I simply download my swing from the camera and viola, I can look at it.
