Hackers –

What is great about this site is that most of us are hackers and not instructors who all have a different opinion on the golf swing. We get first hand info from mike who is a good instructor and also WILL answer any thing that he can help us with. If I offended any one who is not a hacker that is on this site sorry. I would like to know from other above 10 handicappers what is the most part of the golf swing that gives them trouble and maybe we can help each other with our problems through mike.....joe

Joe - My issue is that I read and watch all the videos and understand the content presented here but when it comes to execution I have no concept. It is like I blackout when actually executing the swing. Even when going slow this happens.

jl, I know the feeling. Many times I dont understand the concept of what teachers are talking about yet other teachers do. Hands on teaching is the way to go. I must have zillions of tapes ,books many lessons and have not learned much from them. I have above average iq yet still need special attenion with this stupid game.Mike and brian are the best that I had. Brian actually grabs your body and hands and shows you what they are suppose to do. Dont feel ashame to ask a question you think is stupid or youll never get to know what you need to know..Take a lesson from Mike and bring a list of questions and he will go through them with you. I wasted 2 yrs trying to hit the ball with the pivot and screwed up my swing. the pivot should come natural with the lessons you are given. I thought I wasnt using my pivot yet mike said I had a real good pivot. So only someone that is good as mike see`s what we dont see. Hope this helps. As far as my hardest thing to do is the downswing trying to keep aflat left wrist.....joe

Glad to hear I am not alone. I would say the most difficult thing for me to achieve is the swivel. Of course I attribute that to my left wrist breaking down as the only way to swivel properly is to have a flat left wrist. Just not sure how to physically achieve it.
Funny thing is I bet it is not even that hard. It is only hard b/c we are not doing it correctly.

Most golfers I see dont swivel, the way mike explained it to me is once the ball is hit, the 2 bones on the side of your left wrist turn them over and as brian would say turn your wrist and catch the raindrops. I got one more thing to add winter sucks. 4 days ago(I live in connecticut) I played in a tee shirt its now 27 degrees....later
