    Michael,

One definition of the Vertical Swing Plane seems to indicate it is limited to the impact interval. OTOH, Brian in his video spends considerable time commenting about "on plane" and "plane angle changes" and "club off plane". He also closes with "how to get vertical swing plane numbers up."

    Ref: From the Critical 5.....
Vertical Swing Plane: (travel of the sweetspot TO & THOUGH the impact interval on the face of the inclined plane, as "viewed" from the precise angle of the bottom portion of the inclined plane, relative to the ground).

Is there an ideal VSP for a player which is the plane you and Brian are referencing or is there a second "inclined plane?"

    Sorry for the multiple edits

Good questions Rosie... I wanted you to mostly focus in on the video's definition of the Vertical Swing Plane Angle.. but I am going to make a nice little article on this over the weekend as this is an important topic and a big one since I chose the subject for the golf channel site

    stay tuned

On the lighter side, for those of you who also follow that other guy's forum, you HAVE to check out some of the comments about Mike's video. Mike's instruction received the deserved recognition, but his fashion accessories took a big hit. We may never see Mike in a white belt again.

White belts got a bad name from the crazy guys wearing them.

I thought Mike's white belt was appropriate, as it matched the white trim on his shirt for those fashion concious 'catwalk' New Yorkers out there.

The crazy guys wear their white belts on a daily basis regardless, where as Mike rotates his white belts to match his ensemble'.

Keep up the cutting edge fashion MJ!
