I called my mom when I heard about it she is in Richmond, Va; she says in the city things were ok but yes it was a earth quake. Was everyone ok there?

Everything is fine up here, its amazing we felt it on eastern long island. Everyone ok in virginia??

We felt it pretty good down here in NC too. Glad to hear that damage was light in VA.

Thanks for asking yes everyone and thing was ok... My mom is retired now and she was at home but she said there was no damage to the house and all is well. My sisters went over to check on her ... all is good ...peace of mind !!!

Boy, I hope Irene misses you guys on Long Island. The forecast brings it very close to you early Monday.
The Outer banks here in NC are definitely in danger this weekend.
