Driver question?

As you know I have been working on my game a bunch and with your help I have gotten better and I truly know that, even if all my scores arent what I think they should be however thats ok! My questions is I know with the ball teed up and you hit the driver on the up swing that the resultant path will be left of the target, So if the face is the same degree left as that resultant path you would see a ball that launches left and stay's left correct? So if the face is some degree's open to that resultant left path then what flight should i see?

How Do I teach myself to aim for the resultant path and my ablity to square the clubface? I get that flight thats resultant path left with a face thats left straight ball that starts left and stays left now I am on the left side of the fairway. If I aim at what i think is a target on the right side of the fairway then I get what looks like a straight push now i'm on the right side of the course. What gives how can I teach myself how to aim for my resultant path and my square face to my resultant path?

Let me break this down for you and everyone :

Hitting driver on way up = ideal scenario

When a club is moving up it is also moving left

So if you hit up 1 degree your should have a swing direction 1 degree to the right, this is of course if you are going for dead zeroing out which is not always possible for some folks

Thanks I have been really working on that issue !! I found a post by Bmanz on the perfect pivot and also I found a video tip on this site that I have been checking out. This week showed promise ... very funny feeling for me though to just pivot ... that way level.... I always thought it was a turn under of the left shoulder but it feels as if it is a turn over the right leg. So I will keep at it. Then that makes my right arm fold at the elbow sooner. Feels as if.... it does.

Nevermind...I think I found it...kind of looks like a reverse pivot to me. Pretty much stay behind the ball with your neck/head/chest?

Thanks I have been told to do that I have been working on it. I will get it but it doesnt feel reversed but as we see it does happen.
I have been working on a better pivot for a while. So I am looking for that thought or feeling or idea that will allow me to trust it. I have been successful with the pivot I have , won some AM events but during my most recent large military event my swing didnt hold up under the 4 day pressure.
So I know that I have to get better. So I asked MJ to help. I have a buddy thats an AI that introduced me to TGM and he has tried to help me with my pivot but it has been a challenge;

I have a better understanding of golf but seems as if the body doesnt want to do what my mind says. Thats the challenge lately, I was so frustrated during the last event that golf wasnt fun.
So i said I will become a better ball striker. Some times I feel I may tinker to much and not just work on MY pattern to get better and stick with it.

I know I need a better pivot to create the power and precision or better yet unlock what I know is there; if you where here with me you would see I can hit some really really good shots under pressure but I make to many mistakes when it should be a routine shot for the amount of work I put in. This has to be the best game in the world. Thanks for listening.

RASWING, I messed up my swing for 4 yrs trying to pivot. I believe we all have a natural pivot. Do you think about your pivot when you swing a bat or in tennis or throwing a ball.? I stop thinking about my pivot and just concentrated on a smooth swing and I used my pivot naturally.....jp

Cool thanks for the insight. I will surely think of that .. What I am trying to do is make sure I get a proper pivot then forget it. Then just play knowing I can trust it.

JP when I do it correctly you can see I hit the ball Higher Farther and I mean an increase of yardage that cant be understand other than the proper pivot to control my d-plane with the proper impact alignments. Example I played a short par 4 (372) I hit 3 iron off the tee then Gap wedge recorded with GPS. Then I hit 4 Drivers yesterday all at 281 I cant pass up on those type of results when done right. Again used the GPS I was hit 8 irons and 9 irons on the course yesterday where I would be hittting 6 irons and 5 irons as I have to play longer distances when in AM events so I need distance and accuracy to compete.

My old ways was ok but with the adjustments I am trying to add it will be measurable better.
