    MJ,

I went to a club fitter, who got me into a driver with a draw face. I am interested in your opinion on drivers that are designed to draw or fade. Would it be better to just use a standard driver and swing correctly?

    Thanks-

    Jay

Do you play once or twice a year?

I would go for option B. Otherwise, you're doing yourself a disservice. Once you have a proper move, you can get a fitting to optimize your ballflight. This is the better choice for long term improvement IMO. There are no long term shortcuts.

I would be a little careful with the club face angle.. I bought the Taylor Made driver and fairway woods and the Titleist driver and fairway woods for some experimenting with the face angles and to see what the majority of my students are experiencing.

    I bought R-11 Driver - 3 Wood - 5 Wood - Hybrid 3

    Titlesit D3 Driver - 3wd - Hybrid 3

    Taylor Made SuperFast 2.0 White Driver - 3 Wood - 5 Wood - Hybrid 3

I walked in the sports store the other day and got them all and I think the kid who worked in there thought I was nuts. I didn't order them through my golf shop because I needed them quickly for some experiments this week.

The technology is very interesting but I am skeptical of the altered head angles, that club's mass is going to try and seek and line up when the club goes into it's impact bending mode.

I will play around with them some more on my Flightscope and plan on experimenting with them more next week with Dr Zick when he arrives. Dr Zick is staying for some extended time beyond the Ultimate Golf School for experiments and research and this will be one we report on

Was an interesting week of experiments! The Ultimate Golf School week just ended as Dr Zick flew out late yesterday. We took a look at all facets of driver designs and I experimented with ll the clubs. I am going to put the review into the Ultimate Golf School thread
