In the fall his shoes were not good anymore, and he thought that, because the season is ending, he will buy new shoes in the spring, and play with basketball shoes. The shoes lifted him up a little more than an inch, And what happened was that he started to hit good with his longer irons and badly with his 3 wood. Do you have any ideas why his longer irons improved, and 3 wood got worse?
I let him measure his wrist to floor distance, and it recommended half an inch shorter clubs. And he also told me that his divots where a little out to in.
Thanks

Enrico,
This post just reminded me I need to upload that swing analysis of your students, I have so many things on my plate right now I missing some details......
As for the shoes, would switching shoes be a reason for better shots? Anything is possible, could be possible that the slight out to in path was improved with a bit better counter balance from the feet which helped shallow out the path. It is definitely an interesting story! Got my passport, very excited about taking my golf teaching overseas to Spain!
