    MJ,
I have trouble getting off the left side on the backswing any thoughts on/or things I can think about to help me get behind the ball better; Bmanz was talking to me about during my session with him. Drills to work on?

    RA,

These ideas will promote much more of a right side backswing for you. Watch the video below and give some feedback of where you think you need improvements:

    Thanks MJ,
I will go and work on it I will play around today feeling the step on the right side and the club head will be last to go. What I am doing it seems as if i neve get off my left side in my mind i feel as i am but when on video or a high speed camera I turn back ( the shoulders turn and the back faces the target ) but i never get that lean right look or never create a angle between my left hip and my back it is always just a straight line. Then i get my hip slide as i need then the hip turn sequence and i get ahead of the ball so i never get the axis tilt; Thats the challenge. When i get a small bit of pivot on the backswing then i get a bunch on the downswing I get the shots that i have been working toward High straight ball small left to right flight. but when i get the before mention backswing ( I get a smothered hitting pattern hook or a low slider fade). Now lately i only see that shot maybe twice around but thats two to many
    Thanks

    Joe,

Not a new thing........... I wouldn't worry at all about swaying when someone is trying to fix a torso that leans left on the backswing. It is advantageous to get into that right hip on the backswing to avoid a left leaning swing
