I would like to take the opportunity to show everyone the future website for the book, online interactive learning course, and my new company the Golf Research Corporation.

More details will ensue and this whole entire year will be filled with previews and excerpts from the research and from the book. I quickly put together a mini article discussing some of the contents which will be in the system. I am attaching the 7 page article to this post. Many more details and schedules to come

Article Here - Must read! http://library.constantcontact.com/d...23/XSFile5.pdf

Great teaser for the book. BTW, the newsletter was sharp. When you have a chain of Mike Jacob's Academies I hope you remember the peasants from the old days.

I was going to start swinging today, but it's rather difficult with 3" of that damned white stuff on the ground.

Thanks for all the encouraging posts and emails I have gotten. The book is the hardest and most daunting task I have ever taken on, I should be wrapping up the writing part of it in the next 30 days. From there, it heads to get some professional grammar edits and then awaits all the pictures from a picture shoot this summer. From there, its off to the publisher and in the golfer's hands on December 1st. I am leaning towards a paperback version but haven't ruled out a hardcover. I am working on building a section of this website for the book where you can preview more of it and also see the ONLINE EDUCATIONAL COURSE that will accompany the book.

It will be the most complete system ever put out by a golf teacher

    MJ,
Headed down to the The Players to watch the practice rounds and then on Thursday and Friday to watch the first two days.

I refreshed my thoughts on what to watch when I go down to learn more and do more research by reading the this post again. I will watch more of the player and the body movments and the club time travel as much as i will watch ball flight this time ... I have been down many times but never armed with this insight thanks again .. any more ideas of what to watch ?

Also I will take my camera and film some swings to look at when I get home.
Is there any other things I just be watching out for while I am there?

I am going down with a new light on how to watch the best players in the world to see what I can take away that may help me.

    Ra,

The article covers a pretty good foundation of what to look for

I always like to look at divot depth, I like to see the different attack angles of the players especially with a variety of clubs.

Try and take some good high speed film and share it with us here, take some slow motion and some normal motion, perhaps a slow motion capture of their impacts would be great as well.

    Keep us posted

    RA,

Watch their short shots - give us a report when you get back to how you observe their hand path on a short game shot.

On full swings - take note of divot sizes and depths

On tee shots - note how high they tee it up

Look forward to hearing your report
