Michael, I enjoy the information you are sharing through the forum and I'm sure it is helping many peoples' games. I have been working on getting a solid golf swing since coming back from knee surgery and am doing pretty well with it thanks to your site and Brian's.
One thing that I have been struggling with on the ideas of the release and coupling point is being able to consistently square the club face. I have worked a lot with replacing the left arm and it has helped some.
I have been looking at a lot of tour players' swings and am noticing that most, if not all, have varying degrees of rear wrist extension during the downswing--most have some extension at the top and increase it until about club last parallel when the wrist starts to flex for releasing the club. Have you come across any studies showing the amounts in tour players compared to others, like the Nesbit comparisons in Work and Power? Also, does the amount of rear wrist extension play a role in aiding the squaring of the club face?(It sure seems to, especially when coupled with replacing the left arm).
