    Mike,

What should the average golfer's expectations be in this range? How do you play the shot?

I play a 51 degree wedge, but hit more pulls than straight shots. I would think this is an area in which a weekend player could excel, but I feel more comfortable being farther out.

Any tips or thoughts would be most appreciated. Any forum members figure this out? Advice?

    Regards,

    Bob

    Bob,

Pulls on wedge shots??? Check the club face, for the most part 3/4 of the initial direction of the flight is a result of club face {especially at wedge speeds} After working on the club face and most likely 'opening it' more at contact - I would open the body more on the downswing and through swing to get a sense of much more of an open body

Thanks Mike. I figured it had to be the face, but couldn't figure out why. I think I may have gotten sloppy with my grip. Will check it out this Sat.
