You can hit a lob wedge for a full swing, I was suggesting have a club just for short swings and have all your clubs fitted one by one by hitting off a lie board. I prefer a short swing club that is fitted for just the short swings. You can use any loft that you are comfortable with, the bottom line is just make sure you hit off a lie board from time to time to make sure your clubs are fitted, even hit the short shots off the board to see what part of the sole you are hitting and the fit.
