One quick thing to add to this bunker tip is that many tour players and better players actually open the club up in their hands before swinging as opposed to opening their hands with the club. What they have to do however is a full roll or standard roll coming through. Hosel city if they try to cut the shot without a swivel. I like your method (seen it somewhere else before too!!!  ) better and will teach it to more players but discussing the other option may clear up some misconception. And pros of your preferred method over the other.
